While the company itself was only founded in 2014, Siskiyou Sungrown's fascinating story is far deeper.
Cedar and Madrone Grey, started off just focussing on the incredible healing benefits of cannabis, and saw the success it brought to a member of their family who had a very serious health condition. After that, the pioneering couple went on to look at the science, and the ways that they could deliver the miraculous benefits of cannabis to those in need.
The Greys worked with the principle that everything we consume should not does us any harm, particularly when the intention is therapeutic. To that end, they pledged to only work under the principles of organic farming, and to solely use non-toxic extraction methods. Cedar and Madrone initially conducted their business via OMMP, the legal medical cannabis channels. During that period, they sold directly to medicinal dispensaries, and slowly built up their client base, one person at a time, as they personally produced, marketed, and dispensed their highly sought after cannabis oil to patients with medical approval.
Since 2016, when recreational use for cannabis was legalized in some states, Siskiyou Sungrown transformed into a prosperous endeavor, with two separate cannabis growth sites, and many members of staff. Moreover, they have added OLCC licensed dispensaries to their consume base.
