CBD has been a magnet for celebrities from all backgrounds: Sports stars, rockers, rappers, country western singers, professional fighters and actors have all jumped in on the exciting young market to make a bit of dough from their brands.

The most recent entry into this category is Denise Richards, actress and former Charlie Sheen-spouse who lately had a spot on “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.”

Forty-nine year-old Richards is the mother of three kids, and claims that CBD has helped her to extend her beauty regimen into a more natural direction to keep her looking and feeling great.

Richards new brand is called CBme Beauty, which is a CBD cosmetics line focused on anti-aging and anti-wrinkle effects.

“I am delighted by the CBme Line that we have created,” Richards said in a statement. “These are wonderful products and what I find most exciting is that there is a long-range plan to introduce new products that will constantly get better and better.” [1]

According to Us Magazine, Richards’ line of products ranges in price from $20 to $60, but more and more offerings are expected to be added to the lineup.

"I don't do Botox or injectables. I've tried Botox before, but really didn't like it - I felt like someone was smashing down on my forehead,” Richards told Refinery29. "For me, I focus on a great skincare regime. It's something I've always been passionate about, so I was very excited about the opportunity to make my own line.” [2]

Us Magazine reports that Richards had a hands-on approach to the product line, personally experimenting with each prototype for her own satisfaction and approval before allowing it to go into production.

“I didn’t want to just smack my name on a product and say that I used it — I wanted to make something that I actually use,” Richards told Yahoo! Life. “For example, prior to making this line, I would always mix my moisturizer with oil, so now I have my dream product in the CB Me Cream Oil Moisturizer.” [3]

Richards is hardly alone in her celebrity adoption of CBD.

Snoop Dogg, Martha Stewart, Willie Nelson, Rob Gronkowski and other well-known celebrities have also put their stamp on particular CBD brands as the hemp extract oil has promised to make a huge splash on American markets.

Industrial hemp was legalized in the U.S. in 2018, and entrepreneurs quickly took the opportunity to convert the crop to CBD products.

People love to use CBD oil for their chronic pain, anxiety, insomnia, inflammation, arthritis and other issues.

Cosmetic and skin-care CBD products like those Richards is promoting are also common.
