“Veronica Mars” and “The Good Place” star Kristen Bell recently announced she would roll out a new CBD skincare line called Happy Dance.
The move was announced May 19 in a press release from Lord Jones, the large-scale CBD company that is manufacturing the products with Bell’s star-power and guidance at the helm.
According to People, Bell’s motive was to create a suite of affordable beauty products that working moms and others could use to benefit from the attributes of CBD while looking good.
When it comes to CBD, Bell is joining a litany of other celebrities, athletes and influencers who have picked up CBD sponsors or started to build out their own brand.
CBD has grown wildly popular in the time since industrial hemp was legalized at the end of 2018. Willie Nelson, Rob Gronkowski, Martha Stewart, Snoop Dogg and others have jumped on board the CBD hype train.
People love to use CBD for their chronic pain, inflammation, anxiety, and other uses. Only one prescription CBD drug has been approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration but its use in the nutritional supplements and wellness sectors is nearly ubiquitous.

The product line from Lord Jones is expected to launch later this year and Bell said she hopes it conveys a simplicity of use for busy folks who don’t have the time or attention to dedicate to elaborate prep routines. [3]
